The Color Pixel Calculator is a version of the pixel calculator that can be used on color images. Now instead of just having a single number per pixel representing how light or dark a pixel is, there are three numbers, one representing how red the pixel should be, another representing green and also one representing blue.

When compared to the monochrome version of the pixel calculator, the calculator now has 3 new buttons, labelled R, G, and B. These buttons are used to be able to separately access the red, green and blue components of the images.

The color pixel calculator was written as part of the METIP project and was supported in part by the National Science Foundation under grant number MDR-9155709.
