Towards making the Internet more reliable, we analyze protocols for their vulnerability to misbehavior and misconfiguration. We also design mechanisms to detect and control misbehavior.
ProjectsBGP Misconfiguration A measurement study of extent, impact and causes of BGP misconfiguration. ECN Nonces A simple yet effective extension to the ECN protocol to make it robust towards receiver and router misbehavior. RED-PD RED with Preferential Dropping is a lightweight mechanism to control high-bandwidth flows at a congested router. IP Traceback A practical approach to trace back a DoS attack to it's source(s). |
