As Graduate Program Advisor, Lindsay Michimoto drives the admissions process and monitors student progress from program entry through graduation.  In concert with a student's faculty research advisor, who acts as a technical mentor for each Ph.D. student, Lindsay serves as a first-line of support to promote academic success and a fulfilling graduate experience.

Before coming to Computer Science & Engineering, Lindsay served as graduate/undergraduate advisor in a UW Humanities department for 7 years; after that, she worked as a pre-engineering/pre-computer science advisor in the UW Gateway Center for 15 years.
