Earning Colloquia Credit

To earn one colloquium credit, you must view any eight colloquia and submit a report on any four of them. Since colloquia lectures take place during the day, most PMP students do not attend colloquia lectures live; however, attending them live is an option. To earn credit, you can watch and report on UW CSE colloquia lectures from any day of the week, and from any day, week, month and year. This means if you enrolled in Tuesday colloquia (CSE 519), you can watch Thursday colloquia lectures (CSE 520), and vice-versa.

Colloquia courses are graded Credit/No-Credit (C/NC). All reports must be submitted by midnight on the final Friday of the regular quarter, the Friday before finals week (see the academic calendar). The submitted colloquia reports will be spot checked only. All students who have submitted the required number of lecture reports have always received credit. Colloquia reports can consist of reviews, summaries, critiques or discussion of the topic or related topics. Individual reports should take just five or ten minutes to prepare.
