In addition to not having enough bachelors and graduate seats, we have the wrong mix of bachelors-level institutions
- We pay a relatively large amount, on average, per 4-year seat, while simultaneously under-funding some institutions (for example, UW’s state appropriation per FTE student lags by 20% the average of the 8 OFM-defined “peer institutions,” and lags by 19% the average of the 24 HECB-defined “peer institutions”)
