Allen School Study Center

Welcome to the Allen School Study Center! The Study Center is a space intended for students to study, collaborate, and receive academic support. This page provides an overview of the resources available to students in the Allen School Study Center.

General Information

The Allen School Study Center, located in CSE1 (Allen) Room 006, is available for all Allen School students. Students may access this space 24/7 with their Husky card. The Study Center offers:

  • Dedicated tables for CSE fundamental courses: CSE 311, CSE 312, CSE 331, CSE 332, and CSE 351
  • Space for independent work and space to collaborate and connect with your peers
  • Resources like textbooks, whiteboards, pencils and highlighters, a printer, and more

Looking for something the Allen School Study Center doesn’t offer? Try these resources!

Allen School: 

  • Allen School Success Coaching: 1:1, peer-led, interactive appointments to build strategies for academic success, focusing on time management, study strategies, goal setting, and motivation. 
  • Allen School Instructional Labs: Computer labs available to Allen School students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  
  • 12X/14X Introductory Programming Lab: First-come, first-served support for 12X/14X programming assignments. 
  • Snack Overflow: Underground snack convenience store located down the hall from the Study Center and open 24/7 with your Husky card. 
  • Peer Advisers: Current Allen School undergraduate students who are trained to help you plan your schedules by providing first-hand perspectives, support you with the career/internship search, review your resumes, and connect you with campus resources. 

Math: 

  • Math Study Center: Tutoring and study space for students in MATH 120, 124, 125, and 126. 
  • Math Tutor Directory: List of active students in the MATH department who are willing to tutor. 
  • 200-Level Math Lab: Tutoring and study space for students in MATH 207, 208, 209, and 224. 

Natural Sciences: 

  • Biology Study Area: Study space and computer lab space for students taking Biology courses.
  • Chemistry Study Centers: Computers and reference materials are provided to support students in general chemistry. 
  • Physics Study Center: Space for in-person office hours, independent studying, and group studying.
