Since graduating from the Allen School and joining the faculty of Cornell Tech, Dell has used technology to “make our computing-mediated world safer and more equitable for everyone” — with a particular focus on people experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV) and home health care workers.

Tiny cameras in earbuds let users talk with AI about what they see

Researchers in the Allen School’s Mobile Intelligence Lab developed VueBuds, the first system that incorporates tiny cameras in off-the-shelf wireless earbuds as a less-intrusive, more privacy-preserving alternative to smart glasses.

Professor and alum Jon Froehlich earns SIGCHI Societal Impact Award

Professor Ratul Mahajan named an ACM Fellow
