Wednesday, 26 February, 2003: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
HUB 108

Our students are our most valuable resource. We strongly encourage our affiliate companies to recruit our students and similarly encourage our students to take a close look at the opportunities offered by our affiliates.

The second day of our affiliates meeting -- Wednesday, February 26 -- is devoted to recruiting. There will be an all-day recruiting session in HUB 108 from 9:00am to 3:00pm, during which undergraduates and graduate students who are looking for coop positions, internships, part-time, and/or full-time employment will visit. We also have a few private rooms reserved for interviewing individual students one-on-one.

Before the meeting, we will advertise to our students the companies that will be taking part in the recruiting session. As in the past, we expect that a large majority of our students will attend the recruiting session to meet our members and find out about available opportunities.

We strongly recommend that you review the online student resumes we've collected for the exclusive use of our affiliate members. From these resumes you can get an idea of our students' qualifications and availability, and may decide to contact some directly via e-mail (particularly if you wish to set up an appointment during the affiliates meeting).

If you are interested in taking part in this recruiting session, let us know when you register or e-mail us directly (affiliates@cs.washington.edu) and be sure to include the following information:

  • A one-paragraph description of what your company does.
  • A short job announcement, which we will post, so students can either sign themselves up to see you or drop by the general interview space.
  • The names of any students you wish to interview one-on-one in one of the private interviewing rooms. A limited number of interview rooms will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis to companies who send us their student list. Please specify whether you prefer the room in the morning or the afternoon.
