2026 PMP Graduation Reception

All Allen School CSE PMP graduates from autumn 2025, winter 2026, and spring 2026 are invited, and everyone receives a plus-one for a spouse, partner, or someone else.
What to Expect
The PMP graduation reception is a fun chance to celebrate with your fellow grads, faculty, and program staff, with lots of food and drinks! Graduates can anticipate a large spread of hors d’oeuvres, bites, and a dinner buffet, with an open bar serving cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholics.
Grads will receive a special graduation gift to take with them, along with a selection of sweet Allen School swag. There also will be a professional photographer on-site to capture you and your guests and classmates looking fabulous and having fun!
RSVP & Individual Recognition
RSVPs will open in April! We will be in touch with graduates with an announcement and link.
Please RSVP by Friday, May 22.
All graduates are asked to fill out the form, even if they will not join us.
In addition to your RSVP, the form collects information about your accomplishments during the PMP, including a self- shout-out and a celebratory “tweet” to your fellow graduates. This information is compiled into a customized slide highlighting YOU that will be shown during the event, ensuring that everyone has the chance to be individually honored and recognized, whether or not they attend. Feel free to get creative- the form accepts emojis. 😊 🌟 🎓 🎷
Information for Attendees
How to RSVP:
RSVPs will open in April! Graduates, keep an eye on your email for an announcement and link.
Date & Time
Wednesday, June 11, 7:00 – 10:00pm.
Location:
Zillow Events Center
Gates Center for CSE, 4th floor
UW Seattle campus

The party takes place in the Zillow Events Center on the 4th floor of Gates/CSE2.
✨Your classes may have been on the ground level but your graduation party is in the penthouse!✨
This venue has tons of natural light and a beautiful outdoor patio with panoramic views of Husky Stadium, Portage Bay, and the east side. It’s a beautiful backdrop for photos and celebrating you, our graduates!
Parking
Tonight, your parking is on us! We will arrange for comped parking in a designated lot and provide registrants with a code to use in lieu of making payment.
Attire
As this is not a formal graduation ceremony, graduation regalia (cap and gown) are not required nor expected.
It is, however, a celebration being held in your honor! Graduates and their guests often decide to dress festively to match the occasion, and in the past have typically opted for attire that falls somewhere between “business casual” and “cocktail party”, whether that be in western dress or that of their home country or culture. In any case, there is no expectation for a particular style of dress, nor a dress code.
Accessibility and Accommodations

The RSVP form collects attendees’ and their guests’ accessibility needs and allergies/dietary restrictions. Students are welcome to connect with Kate in advance to discuss the venue, food, and anything else that might support their or their guest’s ability to access and enjoy the event.
Like the rest of the Gates building, the Zillow Commons and its outdoor patio are ADA-compliant and accessible by elevator.
A slideshow will cycle during the party; it does not have bright flashes or strobe effects. At one point, short remarks will be given by a live speaker in English.
Event Photography
Professional photographer Matt Hagen will be on-site during the reception to capture photos of students and their guests looking nice and having fun celebrating with their fellow graduates! An image gallery will be shared with student attendees and the photos are yours to keep. Images may be retained by the PMP for promotional (not commercial) purposes, and UW’s standard personal release applies to photography at this event.
