Aram Harrow

Research Assistant Professor

My work is on quantum information and quantum computing. I lead the UW quantum computing theory group and am a member of the CS Theory group. I also am a co-blogger at The Quantum Pontiff.

Currently, I'm an associate editor at QIC, on the PC of AQIS 2012 and on the steering committee of QIP.

Before coming to the UW, I was a lecturer at Bristol in the CS and Math departments from 2005-10. Before that, I was at MIT for a math/physics B.Sc. (1997-2001) and a physics Ph.D. (2001-5; my advisor was Ike Chuang).
