Note: If you have taken multiple courses at the transfer institution that have related content, it’s best to submit them all, as sometimes a combination of courses will transfer, but an individual class might not cover enough material.
After submitting the course evaluation form:
- Course evaluations can take up to 4-6 weeks after submission of the form
- After your petition has been reviewed, an email will be sent to your UW email address provided on this form from CSEevals@cs.washington.edu
- Upon completion of the course, you will need to send an official transcript to UW Office of Admissions. Once the course appears on your UW record, you should email us to have the course updated appropriately. Please include the original email with the evaluation information that we sent to you.
Study Abroad Credit
For students going on a UW-affiliated study abroad program, you may get to choose which classes to take abroad. The course options and availability will depend on the program. We always recommend meeting with your departmental academic adviser to discuss how studying abroad could fit in with your degree plan and graduation timeline. Current Allen School undergraduates can meet with their assigned academic adviser here.
All classes taken at a UW-affiliated study abroad program can count as UW credit. The Allen School for Computer Science & Engineering is in charge of assigning the UW CSE equivalent course for any CSE classes taken abroad.
