Final Exam

This quarter's final

Time/Place and logictics:

  • Date: Thursday, August 18 (Part 1) and Friday, August 19, 2011 (Part 2)
  • Time & place: Part 1 during your regular section on Thursday; part 2 during the regular class period in EEB 105. Each part is 60 minutes and will be administered as a separate exam. It will not be possible to go back and resume work on Part 1 on Friday, or get ahead on Thursday and start Part 2 early.
  • The exam is closed book, closed notes, etc., except that you may have one 5"x8" card with any hand-written notes you wish written on one or both sides.
  • You also may have a copy of these reference pages (this is the same as for the midterm exam except for two added lines of information about PriorityQueue). Copies will be handed out at the exam, and you may wish to print a copy ahead of time and look at it.

  • Sample midterm exam(s) posted here are intended to represent the topics that may appear on the actual midterm, but there is no guarantee that the exam will contain exactly the same number of questions covering the same topics in precisely the same order. If you've kept up with the material in lectures, worked practice problems in sections, and solved the homework problems you should do fine.
