Demo:  TextRunner extracted over 500,000,000 assertions from 100 million Web pages.

To address the questions above, the KnowItAll project has been developing a variety of domain-independent systems that extract information from the Web in an autonomous, scalable manner.

The project has been sponsored in part by federal research grants from the National Science Foundation and the Office of Naval Research, and gifts from Google.
