Inspirational Teachers Celebration

Congratulations to Our 2025-2026 Inspirational Teachers!

Each year, the Allen School hosts an Inspirational Teachers Celebration to recognize outstanding K–12 and community college instructors who were nominated by our current undergraduate students. These educators played a meaningful role in inspiring students to pursue computing and supported them on their path to the University of Washington.

The Allen School values this opportunity to connect with the broader educational community and to recognize the teachers who helped shape the next generation of innovators. The strength of our program is built on the preparation, encouragement, and inspiration students receive before they arrive at the UW. For both teachers and students, this celebration was a chance to reconnect and reflect on how far they’ve come.

For the first time since 2019, we were able to celebrate in person!
