The homework assignments are posted here. They are generally assigned on Wednesday, and due on Tuesday night (before midnight) of the following week, although this may vary somewhat during the quarter.

Late Policy

Programming homework assignments have fixed deadlines. Late homework is not accepted. It is important that you not fall behind in this class. Do the homework when it is assigned and don't wait until the last minute!

  • Homework 1. Assigned Wednesday, October 2. Due Tuesday, October 8, before midnight.

  • Homework 2. Assigned Wednesday, October 9. Due Tuesday, October 15, before midnight.

  • Homework 3. Assigned Wednesday, October 16. Due Tuesday, October 22, before midnight.

  • Homework 4. Assigned Wednesday, October 23. Due Tuesday, October 29, before midnight.

  • Homework 5. Assigned Wednesday, November 13. The coding part of the homework is due electronically Tuesday, November 19, before midnight. The answers to questions are to be turned in on paper at the beginning of class on Wednesday, November 20. The project writeup (cse413-hw5-project.pdf) and a separate set of questions (cse413-hw5-questions.pdf) are available. There is also a zip file (cse413-hw5.zip) that contains the two pdf files (and nothing else) if you want to download them that way. There will be a turnin link here for the code, but remember to bring the paper copy of your answers to questions to class on Wednesday. Turn in your homework here.

    The writeup (cse413-hw7-project-r2.pdf) and the D language specification (revision 2) (cse413-d-language-specification-r2.pdf) are available. There is also a zip file (cse413-hw7-r2p1.zip) that contains the writeup and various supporting files that you should download. Note that there was an error in the revision 1 specification (production 21), so I updated the specification to revision 2 and revised the writeup and the zip file to reflect the new revision of the specification.
