The Future (CSE 305)

What will computer science and the computer industry look like in 10 years? What research should be taking place now in order to prepare? What areas show the most promise, and where will the breakthroughs lie?

Education (CSE 403)

What do you look for when you recruit students? What makes students successful over the long haul? What are the strengths and gaps that you perceive in the UW CSE education? Given that a Bachelors degree must fit into 4 years, and must prepare a student for a lifetime, what topics are best covered by the university, by internships, and by post-employment learning? How can we work together?

Tech Transfer, Entrepreneurship, and Support for Emerging Companies (CSE 691)

What can UW overall, and CSE in particular, do to be more effective in moving technologies into the market, and helping small companies succeed? Again, how can we work together?
